Are there any requirements to file tax returns in Panama, keep books for the corporation, or to hire an accountant, etc.? |

|
Yes. Offshore companies must file an annual income tax return supporting that they are “offshore companies”, thus not paying taxes in Panama. Offshore companies that generate income outside Panama do not pay taxes over such income in Panama. It is not a requirement for you to keep the corporation’s books or to have an accountant; however, we recommend that you keep your own (private) records for accounting purposes.
